for the first voyage of my sonic odysseys series, I am elated to be joined by the brilliant ራሄል (RACHEL). hailing from New York, Rachel is an all-vinyl DJ whose practice is a love letter to the rhythms of the world, weaving through genres and decades for a deliciously groovy sound. she crafts each set from a true appreciation of global sounds and dance music — encouraging movement, discovery, and connection.
having had the delight to experience excerpts of her offerings online, partaking in a sonic weaving adventure alongside her promises to be a wholesome experience for dancers, music lovers, and myself alike.
